1. Scope
The following Terms and Conditions are valid for all business relation between Frank & Timme GmbH (vendor) and the customer.
2. Ordering
You can order our publications via this website.
By clicking the button "Kostenpflichtig bestellen" (submit order) your order will be completed and forwarded to us. With your order you formally declare to purchase the ordered goods.
3. Conclusion of Contract
On ordering you enter into a contract with:

On receiving your order we will send you an order confirmation via e-mail. This will conclude the contract. The contract will be concluded in the German language. We will save the text of the contract along with your order. Both will be sent to you together with our Terms and Conditions in the above mentioned order-confirmation e-mail.
4. Unavailability Clause
Should the ordered product be unavailable, we reserve the right of not proceeding with your order. In this case, you will be promptly informed by us. Any payments already made will be refunded.
5. Shipping Costs
Orders inside of Germany will be delivered free of cost apart from orders by authors who have published with Frank & Timme.
For orders from our published authors we charge within Germany
up to a shipment weight of 1 kg shipping costs of 3 euro,
up to a shipment weight of 5 kg shipping costs of 4 euro and
from a shipment weight of more than 5 kg shipping costs of 10 euro.
For delivery to other European countries we charge
up to a shipment weight of 1 kg shipping costs of 5 euro,
up to a shipment weight of 5 kg shipping costs of 10 euro and
from a shipment weight of more than 5 kg Vshipping costs of 25 euro.
For deliveries to non-European countries we charge
up to a shipment weight of 500g shipping costs of 5 euro,
up to a shipment weight of 1 kg shipping costs of 10 euro,
up to a shipment weight of 5 kg shipping costs of 15 euro,
up to a shipment weight of 10 kg shipping costs of 35 euro und
from a shipment weight of more than 10 kg shipping costs of 55 euro.
6. Delivery and Payment
1. Shipping and invoicing are handled by Frank & Timme GmbH Verlag für wissenschaftliche Literatur, Wittelsbacherstraße 27a, 10707 Berlin, Germany.
2. Delivery will take place within 10 working days (in Germany) respectively 30 working days (to other countries).
3. Within 30 days of billing the payment is due and payable without deduction. You can pay by bank transfer.
4. All German customers will receive the invoice with the shipment.
5. For non-German customers advance payment applies. First, the customer will receive the invoice. As soon as we receive the payment, the ordered goods will be shipped.
6. For our published authors, special conditions apply. On ordering, kindly notify us of your status as one of our authors.
7. Ownership Clause
Until full payment of the purchasing price the delivered goods remain the property of the vendor.
8. Warranty
The liability for defects applies as stated in the law.
9. Governing Law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is exempted.
10. Place of Jurisdiction
Should the customer be a merchant or a legal entity, no other place of jurisdiction will be responsible than the Court responsible for our Berlin office. This is valid for all dispute resulting from the contractual relation.
