Quality Assurance by Peer Review

In our ever more complex world, the Humanities and Social Sciences are of unparalleled importance. This is our firm belief and the very reason why we build our Catalogue around them.

It is our goal to maintain the high-level profile of the Frank & Timme Catalogue. So—depending on the type of manuscript—we implement one of various kinds of Peer-Review processes.

Every manuscript submitted to us will be examined by at least one expert from our editing team. In case of a thesis (or a similar qualification work) the university's review will also be taken into account.

Should a manuscript be deemed suitable for one of the scientific publication series, it will also be examined by the editorial board and—if applicable—by members of the series' scientific advisory board. In addition, proven eyperts can be asked for a review. All reviewers are required to use a report form for their contributions.
